Importance
[edit]The cliam of notability for this is the writing of articles for the The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. As WP:BIO says that persons published in periodicals with a circulation greater than 5000 may make the person notable. This person would have to be at the bottom end of the range though. She is a rising star in New York's journalism scene as well as being involved in a number of important charitable works. I think the likes to the Times articles and Journal articles should be proof of verifiability. Also, the Times has a circulation of 1,136,433 (as of March 2005) and the Journal is at 2.7 million. I think that puts her at the HIGH end of the range. Bad Mojo 14:40, 15 April, 2006.
- I agree that the articles provide verification, although I don't know what Tango refers to. My comment on her being at the lower end of the notability range was because the Times show only 1 articles, and the Journal only 7. I guess their web sites may not archive every article. If I thought she was not notable though, I would have proposed deletion. Kevin 00:04, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
